i heart santa cruz

this weekend me and Trevor FINALLY had our little trip to Santa Cruz (ive been wanting to go for like 5 months).. we went up on Friday afternoon, found a cheap hotel (the Bugdet Inn..accurately named), and ate dinner on the pier at sunset.. it was very romantic.. :) the next day we went to the Santa Cruz downtown which I had never even known existed.. it is soooo nice.. it looks like a mix between Palo Alto's University Ave and San Jose's downtown (right next to the campus).. then we checked out UCSC.. just because its the one UC i've never been to (besides UC Merced and SF).. it is realllly pretty (lots of big redtrees) but waaay too spread out.. i like Berkeley's campus because you can walk EVERYWHERE.. after that we drove back up along the coast (so pretty) and ate dinner at El Burro.. all in all a VERY nice weekend :)

also, i cut and dyed my hair.. i was going to do bangs but i chickened out last minute.. so i just added a lot of layers and dyed it.. but i still think it looks pretty nice.. here are some pictures to look at..

we stopped to look at the ocean on the way back.. wow.. it just goes on FOREVER.. so different from looking at the bay..
